Medical Information & Pharmacovigilance Associate

With a focus on underserved niche markets, including hospital acute care and gastroenterology, they deliver products that serve patients in the U.S. market.
What you can expect to be doing:
- To facilitate with day to day medical-professional information affairs and drug safety with documentation and recordkeeping and coverage of the call center.
- Facilitate day-to-day operations and activities of Professional Affairs Call Center (PACC).
- Receive and respond to external product complaints and medical information enquiries.
- Record all enquiry information into the appropriate electronic databases.
- Facilitate with reception, processing, and reporting of adverse events.
- Facilitate with maintenance of validated safety database.
- Maintenance of partner safety communications, including upkeep and tracking of safety data exchange agreements and terms defined for each for compliance maintenance.
- Facilitation of documentation of all adverse event processing, internal and external.
- Facilitate with implementation and documentation of literature surveillance of all marketed products.
- Tracking and support of monthly literature searches
What you will bring to the table:
- Medical/ Biomedical background preferred, demonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate and summarize medical/scientific literature.
- Good communication and computer (Microsoft) skills necessary.
- Some exposure to regulatory affairs and/or drug safety is desirable, knowledge for terminology in FDA documentation and call center handling, and scientific language and literature is key, knowledge of scientific literature databases (e.g. Pubmed, Embase) is very helpful.
- Education: BS in health science related area.
